"Ugh, not another purple look!" is what you may be thinking.
However, there can never be enough purple! Last night as I lay in bed I was thinking how I've been using my Urban Decay shadows frequently but hardly give any of my pigments any love. So, I decided to use pigments for my eye look. It's not that I own tons of pigments, I just hardly ever use them. I usually use a pigment once or twice after I buy it and then store it away, to be forgotten... which is a bad habit. ^^;
-UDPP
-MAC Push the Edge pigment (dry)
Above crease
-MAC Bloodline pigment (dry)
Used to darken outer corner
-MAC Mauvement (wet)
Lid
-Bissu pigment in 9
Inner corner (wet) and used to blend Push the Edge (dry)
-Barry M Dazzle Dust in 89
Tear ducts
-Dark purple from Revlon CustomEyes in Party Pops
Lower lashline
-UD Psychedelic Sister
Lower lashline, pressed the color against my lashes
-NYX eyeshadow in 02 White
Brow highlight
-Clinique lash doubling mascara
-Ardell Lacies
I used MAC's mixing medium to wet Mauvement. It's such a pretty color, I don't know why I don't use it more often. Ditto Push the Edge. And Bloodline. I guess I find it more of a hassle to use pigments. Maybe because they are loose powder? I remember one time I knocked down my Cocomotion and was so sad to have lost a bit of it. :( I do have to say that pigments are a great multipurpose product. You can use them on your eyes, lips (those that are lip safe), blush, in nail polish... you name it.
On my cheeks I'm wearing Vintage Grape ombre and on my lips a combination of Revlon's Berry Haute with a dab of MAC's Smoked Purple. I actually like how it looks with purple lips, though some may deem it too matchy-matchy. Different strokes for different folks, I say. ;)
I wasn't really sure what color to use on my lower lashline so I decided to give that Revlon palette another whirl. It's such a pretty color, a shame it's so powdery. :\ All of the shadows are like that, really. I didn't want to use it wet, though I'm sure the color would have been much more vibrant then.

Anywho... full-faced pic!
Why yes, I'm wearing a lavender sweater... don't judge me! :P
Picture with less matchy-matchy lips.
Wearing Maybelline's Color Sensational in Totally Toffee.
Maybe a pinky lip would have looked nice too. :)
That's it for now, I hope everyone has a great Saturday!
xo,
Wendy.
