Recent haulage :D (picture heavy!)

Hi everyone! Just wanted to post a small haul. :D

I finally have given in and bought... wait for it... Urban Decay's Naked palette! I'd been thinking about about buying the Naked2... but I didn't even own the first one and I'd had my beady eye on it.  I kid you not, every time I passed by it I could hear it call my name. So I had to buy it.

I also bought a nail polish from China Glaze, from their holiday collection. It's called Snow Globe. There have been several known dupes for this, such as MAC's Unconditionally Fabulous (from Glitter & Ice) and similar to Deborah Lippmann Stairway Heaven, according to Temptalia. I thought China Glaze was the best bang for my buck, so I bought it at Sally's... where they only had one more left. Totally meant to be. <3

I also bought Seche Vite top coat. I'd previously bought Out the Door and I thought it was okay, so I reverted back to Seche Vite. I really like how it gets my nails all shiny and glossy and how it dries super fast. One downfall is how gunky it gets after a while. But I think they sell something for that. Must look into it. Other than that, no complains from me!

Next is something I hardly ever buy... two MAC lipsticks. From the permanent line. It's usually the LE ones I'm after haha. But it's nice to buy from the perm line. :) I bought Girl About Town and Rebel. For my birthday, I'm going to be wearing a smokey bronze-y eye but didn't want to wear red lips... so I decided on hot pink. I'm pretty sure I have other pink lipsticks... but I've been told really good things about this lipstick and I'm excited to own it. As for Rebel, I've been wanting it ever since... one of MAC's last collections... I can't even remember the name and I'm usually so good at that. That just goes to show how many collections MAC has been pumping out at us... but I digress. Rebel. It looks like the color you'd get on your lips after eating beets (I love 'em!). I think it might be a bit similar to What Joy! but in the tube Rebel is clearly... pinker, whilst What Joy! looks browner. Thank goodness for comparison swatches! I think I'm also going to post the pink lipsticks I have... see if I can find any dupes or look-a-likes in my stash, haha.

I also caved into buying Urban Decay's Book of Shadows IV. I was a bit reluctant since I read an okay review from a certain website and was dragging my feet a bit. I love Urban Decay eyeshadows, they're so smooth and incredibly pigmented! This palette was no exception. All of the colors swatch beautifully. When I first saw swatches of this, I fell in love with Lost and Cobra. One shade that I never expected to love was Crystal! It didn't photograph outstandingly, but the color is beautiful! It makes me think of winter, ice and snow princesses. It's delightfully shimmery with blue and silvery sparkle. It's just love. I'm really looking forward to using this shade. :D This BoS also came with the standard mini Primer Potion but also included a full-sized 24/7 liquid liner in Perversion. I'd been curious about those liners (especially Smog!) and in need of a black liner, so this one couldn't have come at a better time. The applicator is thin, so that might take a bit of time of me to get used to, but it applies great and really lasts 24/7. The mini Supercurl curling mascara was nice. The wand is curved, so it fits your eye. The formula is wet-ish (if that makes sense, ha) and the tube has a stopper so that when you pull out the wand, mascara doesn't spill out, which is always a good thing. Other than that, no special thoughts about it. I've only used it once, so that may be why.
My mom and I went half and half on a Heavy Metal glitter liner from Urban Decay. We bought Spandex (that sounds funny...). It has all these lovely different color glitters in it. Not much thoughts about it aside that it's great for this holiday season. 'Tis the season to shine! Well, you can use glitter liners at any time, really... but something about Christmas screams "glitter!"
